A Study on the Types of Parent Education Programs

Abstract
Preschool Children make most intimate, relationship with their parents. Their Parents are the central factor in preschool children¡¯s environment. Success and failure of preschool children¡¯s education depends on the parents¡¯ such role. So, nowadays, many papers emphasize the importance of parent education and parent participation. Since 1960, the importance of parent education was more emphasized. This paper is intended to help formation of children¡¯s educational environment by the study of documentary records in parent education¡¯s concept, needness, variety of programs. As a result of research, several points at issues are found. First, there is no study on parent education program for 0-1 year old so further studies on parent education programs for 0-1 year old are urgent. Second, the arrangement of brain is completed in 3 years after birth. So, parent education programs for 1-3 year old will have to be more devoloped. Third, in order to improve the preschool children¡¯s educational environment, it is necessary to practice parent education by the systematic institution at the national level.
